Nottingham Regeneration Limited Nottingham Regeneration Limited (NRL) is the physical regeneration agency established to help drive forward the renaissance of Greater Nottingham.

NRL was set up as a public-private partnership in 1998, as a response to a very real local need. Nottingham City Council, the East Midlands Development Agency, The Homes and Communities Agency, together with key players from the private sector, are on our board.

NRL's aim is to create a physical environment in which the citizens of Greater Nottingham can take pride, and which improves their lives at home, at work and play.

NRL works to enhance the local economy and support Nottingham as a thriving European city. It helps to create balanced communities with more housing and enhanced retail, leisure and business opportunities.

NRL manages Nottingham's regeneration areas of Eastside, Southside and Waterside, we are a key partner in Science City and also help to drive forward the renaissance of the wider conurbation.

Nottingham is already a revitalised city but intends to further reinvent itself as a key business location, visitor destination and a great place to live. NRL seeks to manage this change to bring real and lasting benefits to the area. We fly the flag for Greater Nottingham's ambitious regeneration plans.

Despite the challenging economic climate Greater Nottingham holds enormous opportunities over the next decade, and it is NRL's intention that it reaches its full potential.
